An idea for a watercolour painting came to me yesterday through a series of photos, one of which included a statue of an angel statue. Challenging myself with water colours. On the Facebook page 29 faces some people were exchanging news about people they had lost, and somehow the painting I was working on turned into a memory painting. Strange how things sometimes come together.
Here comes a series of photos taken during the process of painting.
It is not a favorite of mine, but it fits into the spirit momentarily wavering through the Facebook page. I myself add it as a tribute to those I have lost in my life, some not so long ago and some many years ago.
To my mother Hildegard, my brothers Bernd and Klaus, and my sister Astrid.
Peace and love be with you always
