They are works in progress and here are some process photos of them:
I started this heart with doodling with my Indian ink pen.
Here is the other side:
After doodling I covered all of it with a layer of satin silver acrylic.
And finally I started colouring it with water colour.
The second piece is a butterfly, which I painted with acrylic first and then started painting the face of a young woman.
Below a detail-shot of the face.
The last three pictures are showing slight changes in shading and colouring of the skin.
The other side of the butterfly shows a rabbit painted only with Payne's grey. The surrounding is painted green and the other half will end up half a butterfly again.
This was it for this week. Thank you for good wishes for the exam! It was an ok day.
Hope you enjoyed the week-end!

ReplyDeleteHi Ilona. Hope all is well. Love your work on wood. Wood is a lot of fun to work on. I'm doing wood right now too. Ilona I got your message about visiting my blog and you are welcome any time. I sometimes shut it down in the evening and open back up in the morning. Lots of spammers, etc. Please stop by anytime. I enjoy seeing your work and love your comments when you do stop by. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh MY ...this is so cool ...very nicely done and thanks for sharing your art works

Your painting on wood is gorgeous, Ilona. And congratulations on being selected as artist of the week for PPF.
Erika
