adding brown and orange
Here Chopin played his role: the ink scribbles in the background were done to the tones of serenade Nr. 10, and some water-soluble graphite gave some dimension, to the left dry, to the right wet.
Silver and gold markers were used to highlight some spots.
Adding some ink doodles all over the painting, and finished!
I share this on PPF, have a look at all the other artists, sharing their work!
I love that you showed how it progressed ... I listen to Bach's Violin sonatas while I work often and they always give my work a softer fluid look... I am going to look out for the Chopin now...xx

ReplyDeleteI have done a painting with Vivaldi, the Winter part of the Four Seasons:

Lovely piece of work. I really like the loose, sketchy feel of this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carla! Yes it is a kind of sketch, but to work more on it would make it "heavy", I think.
